PICAMILON
- Product description: supply good quality PICAMILON CAS:62936-56-5
PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
PICAMILON
Picamilon Nootropics Powder Pikamilone Sodium Salt (CAS 62936-56-5)
1. WAHT IS Picamilon?
Picamilon (also known as nicotinoyl-GABAm Pycamilon, Pikamilon, etc) is a dietary supplement formed by combining niacin with GABA. Picamilon is able to cross the blood-brain barrier and then is hydrolyzed into GABA and niacin. The released GABA in theory would activate GABA receptors potentially producing an anxiolytic response.The second released component, niacin acts as a strong vasodilator, which might be useful for the treatment of migraine headaches.

3. Mechanism of Picamilon
Picamilon is a molecular combination of vitamin B3 and γ-
aminobutyric acid (GABA). Picamilon was reported to decreases cerebral blood-vessel tone and increases intracranial circulation rate. The drug exceeds in force
and duration the effects of GABA and niacin alone. In small doses, Picamilon shows
tranquilizing action to prevent the negative effects of emotional stress. As with
diazepam, it depresses motivative aggression. The tranquilizing influence of the
drug on negative emotions expressed through the hypothalamic system has been
proved. Picamilon is characterized by a tranquilizing effect, without a sedative
component but with elements of stimulant action.
The drug effectively counteracts stress and lowers the depressing influence of ethanol on the behavior of animals. It rapidly penetrates through the blood-brain barrier and improves the functional state of the brain by producing a beneficial effect on its metabolism. Due to its GABA affiliation picamilon also acts as a mild sedative, calming the nerves and reducing symptoms of anxiety and irritability.
4. In particular, Picamilon has the following attributes:
Easily crosses the blood-brain barrier and increases intra-cranial and cortical blood circulation; ¤ is an effective vasodilator with superior action to that of Hydergine or Vinpocetine; ¤ lowers blood pressure; ¤ has a tranquillizing, but non-sedative effect and reduces aggressiveness; acts as mild stimulant; has fast-acting neurological action.
Improvements may be apparent as early as the second or third day after taking Picamilon in patients suffering from acute brain syndrome. It stimulates physical and psychic rehabilitation from various asthenic (weakening) disorders;
is beneficial in the treatment of certain eye diseases, particularly open-angle glaucoma; reduces pain and other symptoms of migraine; reduces symptoms associated with alcohol withdrawal.
This compound acts very quickly, as its effects are apparent within an hour, and can last up to six hours. It has very low toxicity and side-effects are extremely rare. However, high doses of Picamilon should not be used in combination with other vasodilators such as Ginkgo biloba or Vinpocetine.
5. Picamilon Usage:
1. Violations of cerebral blood flow (ischemic acute, subacute and rehabilitation period of ischemic stroke, chronic insufficiency of cerebral blood flow);
2. Vasoneurosis;
3. Asthenia (weakness);
4. Depression;
5. Senile psychosis;
6. Alcohol (period of abstinence), acute alcohol intoxication;
7. Migraine
8. Craniocerebral trauma
9. Neuroinfections;
10. Primary open-angle glaucoma (for stabilization of visual function).
6. Picamilon Function
Picamilon is able to cross the blood-brain barrier and then is hydrolyzed into GABA and niacin. The released GABA in theory would activate GABA receptors potentially producing an anxiolytic response. The second released component, niacin acts as a strongvasodilator, which might be useful for the treatment of migraine headaches
1. Picamilon can produce an anxiolytic response which decreases anxiety.
2. Picamilon is used to treat Asthenia, which results in increase muscle strength.
3. Picamiloon can enhance learning and memory.
4. Picamilon is used to treat depression.
5. Picamilon is effective for treatment of migraine and other headaches.
6. Picamilon is helpful with the misuse of alcohol and treatment of hangovers.
7. Treatment of Violations of cerebral blood flow (ischemic acute, subacute and rehabilitation period of ischemic stroke, chronic insufficiency of cerebral blood flow);
7. Picamilon Issues
At higher doses Vitamin B3 (2g+) has been indicated in liver damage and may cause flushing and skin irritations. Whilst unsubstantiated – cessation of picamilon after a long-term/high dose regime may increase the risk of seizures and exhibit many of the severe withdrawal symptoms associated with benzodiazepines.
8. Picamilon Dosage
There is little official medical stricture regarding picamilon’s ideal dose regime, however, at smaller doses, picamilon displays an exclusive non-drowsy sedative effect, whilst at higher doses, (some 100mg three times daily) picamilon develops a stimulant type affinity and user’s should tailor their dose according to their specific goals.
9. Picamilon Application
Pikamilon is used for treatment of these illness.
